I just pulled up a couple bench mark data sheets.
Be sure you are using the full URL. I don't think you can leave off the www.

NGS has been giving me fits lately. I succesfully get on and save the address to "Favorites". Does not work next time.
I got some OPUS Solutions over the weekend, but my nearest CORS was not available. Will be trying again tonight.

The NGS website is very weird. Often I get the "page not found" error, but press "refresh" a few times, and it loads.

My service provider is Comcast and I've had trouble getting to some of the local government sites lately. I've found that it is often a case of the website being fine but Comcast's DNS servers not being able to properly resolve the URL to its IP Address.
I've found that if I go to one of the DNS lookup sites (just Google "DNS lookup") and type in the www.whereever and then copy and paste the IP address that comes back into the address bar on my browser I usually find that the web site is fine. The IP for www.ngs.noaa.gov is 205.156.4.133
