If anyone has the May/June 1982 issue of Professional Surveyor magazine, please contact me.

Is that the first one? I finally recycled all of my mags about two years ago, had almost every issue of them all until then, POB, GPS World, PS, AS and a few others 🙁

I did keep a few special ones, I think I have the 1st and the 25th anniversary ones.

It would be Volume 2, Number 3. I believe this would have been the 9th issue I need.

I didn't even know Professional Surveyor had been around that long. I was eight years old at the time.

You might check with Marc Cheves.

I think that predates Marc's time at Professional Surveyor by about a dozen years.

Check with the Museum in Springfield. I donated a lot of back issues of mags and that should be one.

I probably have it, but do not wish to let it go. Are you looking for something specific in the issue or just want the issue? I would have to look in the box that I keep all the back issues of POB, Professional Surveyor and other magazines I have amassed over the years.

I was 2 years out of College and working for the DoD in July of '82.

I would contact Professional Surveyor. I believe almost all magazines keep copies of their back issues. They may be able to send you a copy of the portion of the issue you need.

I finally give it up about ten years ago and stopped saving magazines (wife got her way). It's pretty much all online or on the hard drive at this point. Wife hasn't insisted I throw away the hard drive (yet). There is plenty of her stuff I'd like to deep six but that's another issue!

Thanks for everyone that contacted me. Dave Ingram came through with what I needed. This site is one of the best resources out there!
