Thanks for the heads up.
Ditto Dan. Very cool indeed.
Bill,
Thanks for the heads up. This is going to be a phenomenal sight!
Have a great weekend.
i'll be out there with the T1A and a tall glass of the "uisce beatha"
Darn it! I wont be able to see it. We're getting rain all next week. :-S
I'll just have to look at the pics that you guys are going to take, right?? 😉
wow ..
nice conjunction with the Winter solstice.
pagans and neo-pagans will be burning their bonfires bright.
Always Look On The Bright Side, Angel. It could be snow!
True, very true Tyler!! I am a bit surprised we haven't got snow coming since we're moving stuff all this week!! (hopes God didn't read that comment!) 😉
Suppose to be snowing here... drat! Thanks for sharing the link.
We won't be able to view it here, as clouds are already here and are to stay, with some snow forecast.
After snowing all day, it cleared out in the evening up in the mountains. Anchorage bowl fogged in, but we were in the clear. It was very very coool. I did not have time or abmition to do quality photography, but my SWMBO and I watched through my Leica and Zeiss binoculars. Here is a great photo of what it looked like in full eclipse under magnification. By the bare eye, looked like a pale orange ping-pong ball.
Now that is beautiful. :sun: Did you take that, Northern??
