Yes I have loose screws.:-P

TSC2-"Loose screws detected. Please tighten screws to avoid power loss."

Must be a glitch with this particular control because I've tried 3 different batteries and if I tighten them any more, I'll crack the case or break my hand.

Do not overtighten, only need to be snug. Was told this by a Trimble repair guy.

I had a screw rattling around in my TCU for a couple months after I got it back from a screen replacement. When I took it back, they couldn't find where it came from. But it never told me a screw was loose.

Had the same warning last week after switching a battery.
Screws were not loose, but detaching and replugging the battery fixed it for us.

I don't need a data collector to tell me I've got a "screw loose".

I had the same notification a few weeks ago, and when I checked, one of the battery screws was pretty loose. It really surprised me. I have the TDS Ranger 500X

A radio repair tech told me many years ago the best thing for cleaning contacts is a pink pearl eraser. I'm not familiar with the contacts on the TSC2 battery. An eraser may not work. But, it's still good information to store in you noggin for future use.
