I am looking for a level loop spreadsheet for Excel. One that will accommodate IFS shots, we wrote one in my geomatics program last semester but it does accommodate those shots. I have looked online no luck yet. Thanks
Do you have an email? May give you mine? what do you mean IFS shots? Are those intermediate shots?

IFS is an intermediate foresight, OR independent foresight, if you were brought up with TDS, these were called sideshots.
I just make one up every time.
Try this. See if it works? https://www.dropbox.com/s/4brbr4i3zmbs2jp/Leveling%20Adjustment.xls?dl=0
If you don't find something that works, PM or email me. I wrote one for exactly what you're asking for a few years back. I'll see if I can find it on my home computer.
Independent Foresight sounds so fancy to me. Seems dangerous.
Here's a spreadsheet I did once upon a time for 3-wire work. Easy to edit to single-reading work.
Sideshots are difficult to accommodate while keeping a spreadsheet generic, but easy to add as needed by inserting rows, copying the proper cells, and fixing the cell references in the formula. I like the idea of a separate column for their results as seen in the spreadsheet posted above.

Independent foresight, as it is independent of any compass rule or proportional adjustment routines, that you would use to close out the loop.

Sounds familiar. I think I might have taken one of them sideshots on the smith.job
Try this one.

I'm not confused on what a sideshot is...
my point was that giving it some fancy name might not alert others to the fact that it's a shot that is outside of any checks or adjustments.
IFS is the term I have seen used on all of our older 1950's level notes. I don't think it is a new thing.
Thanks everyone I have just returned to the thread...
