Length of "site" or "sight" ?

Good article From http://www.pobonline.com/articles/97669-surveying-company-overcomes-river-challenges

Maybe should be 'sight' as 'site' is the area/place and 'sight' is the actual physical seeing action ?

Oh well, "It is a darn poor mind indeed which can't think of at least two ways to spell any word." Andrew Jackson

Cheers,

Derek

He only spelled it "site" when referring to Length of Site, which to me connoted the distance of the crossing. Wherever he referred to an observation he used "sight" or "sighted".

Great article, thanks for sharing.

Depends on whether you use an Oxford Dictionary or a Webster's.
