Have a question about Leica total station. I`m looking to buy new guns. We are using Topcon and I`m not really happy with these equipment. My question is what gun I should get, TS07 or TS10? I believe that TS10 have a Leica software?ÿ onboard.
I really like the TS06 and TS12 (robotic).
I use a Carlson DC with both, and find that combination to work great.?ÿ
I don't know this next generation of instruments, and whether they play with SurvCE like the prior ones.?ÿ If so, I'd suggest using that combo.?ÿ If not, maybe the newer Leica DC software has gotten more user friendly.?ÿ It's always been a bit awkward in the past.?ÿ So I wouldn't suggest getting the onboard software unless you like it already, or Leica software is the only choice now.
2 of our crews use a Leica TS07. One with fieldgenius on a mesa 2 and the other with fieldgenius on a tsc7. The one crew also has a Trimble sx12 they only take out if they need to do scanning or some robotic work.?ÿ
I've heard no complaints about the Leica conventional instruments. 2 other crews use an old Leica TCR800, one with fieldgenius one with Trimble access on a tsc3.?ÿ
The Sokkia instruments are abandoned on the shelf (srx Bluetooth died after 10 years and the ix was given up on after 2 years of hell we went through with it. )
