I thinking of buying a Leica tcra 1105 plus any pros cons? It wiil be my first robbot because my budget is low.
Its the gun I have.
The biggest drawback is getting service or repairs.
I have had mine since 2004 and its been a good worker.

Johnymal,
I will agree with Randy. The instrument has been out of production since 2004 and Leica keeps parts for 5 years after the phaseout list. We still have several of our customers that are using and still repairing their TPS1100+ instruments. If you are buying used I would suggest that you get the instrument inspected at a Leica Service Center. There is usually a set fee for just the inspection which is followed by a quote for the estimated repair costs if needed. That way you could see if the technicians can find anything that might obviously need repair for long-term use. The other issue would be what data collector and radio system you are planning to use.

Data collector and software will figure prominently in the user experience. I have a TCRA1102plus that I'm running with SurvCE v1.67 on an Allegro CX. Being old technology, it's not a very fast gun in terms of spinning and searching, and all the cabling is kind of kludgy. However, it's been productive for me, and the accuracy has been excellent.
I have an allegro cx with surve ce 2.68, the instrument i found it on ebay.com do you think that it's risky to buy it?
I was thinking after the purchase to check it be local LEICA dealer.

Be careful. I only see 2 TCRA1105plus units currently listed on eBay. The one offered by palletsandmore doesn't include a radio or cable for same, so you'd have to provide those separately if you want to run robotic. The Y-cable lists for $375 as I recall, but it would allow you to use an external battery in addition to a radio.
The other one is offered by ssc-usa, but is shown as coming from the UK. It also comes without a radio or Y-cable, and it doesn't have the PowerSearch option (a must for robotic use, in my opinion).
Given the age of these guns and the increasing scarcity of repair parts, I wouldn't spend anywhere near opening bids on either one. If you really want to go in this direction, make an offer that reflects the knowledge that the gun may become uneconomical to repair at any time.
Good luck!
