Good morning-

I'm looking for the pin-outs for the DB-9 end of a Leica data cable (TCRP1203)?ÿ I think it's 3,4 RX, TX; 5 ground, 9 positive but I'd like confirmation.

Thanks!

@sergeant-schultz?ÿ

same question like here?

https://surveyorconnect.com/community/surveying-geomatics/leica-1200-port-pinout/

Like written above by @hpalmer in TPS1200 Technical Reference Manual "Pin Assignments and Sockets"

http://www.geoaxxis.de/manuals/tps1200/tps1200_techref_en.pdf#G57.1210546

You just need to connect RX, TX and GND to make data connection. Positive+ is not necessary.

https://www.usconverters.com/index.php?main_page=page&id=61&chapter=0

Just if you really need "PWR_IN Power input"?ÿ for your station connect LEMO Pin 1 to DB-9 Pin 9. Other Pins wrong connected might not be a big problem. But "PWR_IN Power input" wrong connected might destroy your station. Also i don??t know any external Leica Batteries with DB-9 connectors.

I once destroyed my Laptops DB-9 connector when accidentally putting 12V from battery into the Laptop because of wrong connected wires ???.
