Newest update has the ability to attach dog files to your Leica job. ?ÿI managed to attach one, but I canƒ??t see it anywhere in the 3d viewer. ?ÿAnyone else do this that could steer me in the right direction?

A few things to check -

Maybe the coords are not correct?

Can set the units on import as well.

Also there is a tickbox to convert white entities

Have you been able to successfully import it as a DXF?

?ÿ

Bit of a non feature for me. Never had a problem saving as a DXF.

I would never load up a received DWG directly to the logger anyhow.

I haven't done much other than read the update features paper.?ÿ What is the benefit of loading a .dwg over a .dxf??ÿ Will it read C3D objects like pipe networks or surfaces??ÿ If it won't do that I don't understand the benefit.?ÿ You would probably need to be using a CS35 to benefit from the C3D objects anyway because the CS20 doesn't have the RAM horsepower necessary to process those objects on anything larger than a 1/2 acre pad site.?ÿ

The IFC file functionality may be able to do that. Not something of great interest to me either. Whenever I have been supplied BIM models like that they have not been on correct coordinates. (for starters...)
