I have a Leica 1203 using a 1250 data collector with Leica Smartworx program. I had to have the motherboard replaced and at that time the repair guy told me that for whatever reason the setup using the DC required using the machine in terminal mode, Recently I performed a check and adjust where I put the cf card in the 1203 and all went well. However when I put the card back in the DC the machine basically forgets that a check and adjust routine was performed.
Any suggestions on how best to perform the check and adjust so that the machine remembers it was performed?
thanks in advance.
Leave a CF card in the gun? I've never had this problem with one of our 1200's but then they all have a CF card as well as the one in the DC.

what exactly do you mean by "...the machine basically forgets that a check and adjust routine was performed."? basically/not really? symptoms?
AFAIK you can't run a check and adjust without a CF card, but the user determined field calibration values shouldn't be forgotten without the CF card.
