The report from the joint study by the GPS Industry Council and LightSquared is, as many have reported, not likley going to look good for high precision GPS users like surveyors and farmers using RTK, and many others.
The news will likely hit with a dull thud in the media, unless of course the inquiries by the committee of the judiciary get some press, or some brave law makers want to question the blind obsession with broadband-for-all at any cost (which may not be politically safe).
It may be really important for there to be a lot of press at the time of the report, before the FCC chairman gets his rubber stamp on it (probably is carrying a special one for this matter in his pocket at the ready).
What if - on the day of the reprot coming out there ware some surveyors, pilots, first responders, and maybe a agri tractors in front of a some fed buidlings around the country making a lot of noise? That sort thing sure gets on the news.
