this forum? This guy wanted to buy my Roelof's for 350, I told him it wasn't for sale, then offered me 380 to which I told him 50k if he wanted it.
The typing is a bit like those "My ship has come in" emails, but very specific to surveying equipment and via the email function of surveyor connect.
I feel like one of my buddies here is messing with me, but can't truly rule out the alternative.

i was just on my way to BWI to pick up prince Goflack. he is going to pick up my shoebox full of hundreds for an investment opportunity in Nigeria. he has some kind of a crocodile ranch he is building.
There was a guy that used to post on the old board as (something)100. (Mark100?) He was some kind of dealer, and I think bought and sold on EBay a lot. He would talk many times about equipment. He also had poor English skills. Maybe you got the same guy. (Maybe someone here remembers him and his real name).
I am suspecting his offers are legit, but he is most likely looking to make a profit. I am guessing he visits this site. Maybe he has a new handle.

I think you're correct. "Bujor Tanasescu" must be a different guy than the above (Unless he is using an alias). For some reason 'Bujor' sounds right

IIRC Bujor used to post on the other board under the name Mark Hundred. He is a legitimate dealer in used equipment - he used to have stuff listed on EBay etc.
We bought a Recon and some other gear from him several years ago but I haven't heard from him recently.

FYI -- if you have the checkbox checked in your profile indicating you can be contacted, then anyone can send you a message via the forum, even non-registered users. The good part is that they cannot see your email address when sending the message -- the forum sends the message to you on the sender's behalf so as to protect your email address. Just remember that if you respond to the message, you will then be providing your email address to them.
