I wonder what a Pakistani deed/cadastral system is like?

I saw this news article about how they were researching the "owner" of the compound where Osama bin Laden was killed. They don't go into too much detail, but it's kind of interesting.

Anybody know of what kind land system they have in Pakistan?

Hmmm, I’m guessing that the relevant documents might have grown legs over the last couple of days… Interesting idea, though!

Thanks for the link. I'm reading it now... but it's kinda painful... very little editing or proofreading was done on it...

Obviously the real estate bubble is still going strong in Pakistan.

I keep hearing it called a "million dollar compound" but seriously, odd shaped parcel, no cable or high speed internet - that place is $600,000 tops here in the DC suburbs.
