I have a .survey file (Survey Pro 5.0) that I need the coordinates converted to a txt file ASAP. Please email me if you are able to do this.

Is it in the data collector right now?
IF so, use the EXPORT FILE function, and export it to ASCII.
I usually export to CR5, and then tell it it is communicating with a HP 48.

The data collector is out in the field, that's why I can't do the conversion. I have the file in my office and survey pro 5.0 files can't be converted in office unless you buy separate software.

Just to throw it out there....the new Survey Pro 5.2 has integrated Dropbox in the actual survey program. Makes it easy to do things like this. Check it out.
