Has anyone used or are using the HPRTK RTK Service??ÿ T hey cover a nice chunk of the Midwest and all of Illinois were we are based out of.?ÿ We are currently subscribed to the Trimble VRS Now RTK network and haven't had any major issues.?ÿ ?ÿThere appears to be a nice annual cost savings with the HPRTK guys though, so that caught our attention.?ÿ ?ÿ
Just curious if anyone had any opinions on it.

I have a great deal of experience with them. Have known the owner for a long time.
They are Ag centric. Their sites are top quality, I believe all full GNSS with essentially matched antennas. They use a Geo++ back end server and have great dedicated customer service.?ÿ
Ag connections are marketed through 'DigiFarm VBM' ( https://digifarm.com/ )
Survey connections via hprtk.net.
I don't understand why the pricing is significantly different for Ag connections and Survey connections, but I am sure if you call them they can explain it. I also suspect that you can purchase a 1-month trial to try them out.?ÿ
They are probably setup to support tractors more than Surveyors. But if you are in their footprint, they should be amazing regardless. NTRIP is NTRIP and they do NTRIP.

Truth be told, I used the HP RTK service to obtain an RTK fix at the Geographical Center of North America in Rugby, ND as recently posted on FB. Even though it was COLD and WINDY that day, I couldn't resist the urge to get at least one shot at this mathematician's oddity. Why I visited that site in February is beyond me but I'm thankful the HP RTK service made short work of my time out there.
