Hi i'm new on this site and new on my job. I'm 21years old new geodoezy engineer and our country's geo field is not that great. Anyway about my issue
We have Leica GX1230 GPS which we use as base station it's good equipment but our pacific crest radio modem does not have cable that connects GEB171 external battery to our radio modem(PDL) So wherever i go i carry around car accumulator which is very heavy to carry around. So what kind of cable do i use to connect pacific crest radio modem(PDL)to GEB171 external battery. If i don't solve this problem fast i think i'm gonna die of exhaustion.
And wondering if anyone going to sell it to me with good price or tell good site to buy it

There might be lot of incorrect things because my english is not that good thank you all

Leica does not make a cable to connect the LGS Red Brick battery to the Pacific Crest 35w Base radio. You DO NOT want to connect up your Leica RTK Base station this way. You need to use a Deep cycle Marine battery, at least 35Amp hour style battery. The external battery to power/operate the Pacific Crest external radio can be sourced locally, I would NOT recommend using a car/truck battery, this type of battery has cold cranking power, but the alternator in the vehicle charges the battery while the vehicle's engine is running. The 35 Amp Hour Deep Cycle battery is designed to run/maintain the device (Pac Crest radio) all day, for several days in between charges.

Leica does make an external power cable, you can connect to the 35w Amp hour Deep cycle Marine battery, leave the Leica Red Brick battery in the survey truck for long hikes into your control point

Yes, the 35w Deep cycle Marine Battery is heavy, but you're young, strong and fit!!
Suck it up Nancy, welcome to the world of Land Surveying...
