I always thought Cali would fall into the Pacific in one big plop. I guess it will do it a little at a time.

I live about 130 miles East of and about 3200' above the ocean shore. I really hope it continues a little bit at a time rather than as one big plop. I'm hoping to be able to see the beach from my front porch before I leave this Earth.
People out here keep talking about sea level rise. There ain't no sea level rise. The ground around it is sinking into the sea. Some of it goes fast enough that we'd actually notice it happening.

I've never actually eaten at a Golden Corral, but it looks like the sort of joint that dispenses mass.
