Ah... was a great to be surveying yesterday. Found all the needed section corners and quarter corners. Thank you USGLO for doing a dependent survey of this township in 1924. Sometimes it is just nice to have a great day!
Amen!
on days like that, I like to dance a little jig......

Raton eh...just got back from there. My mother lives/works at Vermejo and her fiance works at the Whittington center. Stumbled across the monumented line between the nra center and vermejo. Your work perhaps? Beautiful country....Dropped by Cold Beer for pizza..Great Stuff. I'll bet a lot of days are great days surveying there.

Ah yeah. We work on Vermejo. Actually did the boundary survey for Vermejo when Ted Turned purchased it from Penzoil. I wasn't apart of the company at that time. Came in right after finishing that job. We do still locate natural gas wells on Vermejo and also in Colorado. Did not survey the NRA. So we didn't set that marker. I really enjoy surveying here, but being in the the Maxwell Land Grant does make it very interesting.
