I have a older R7 at my home office that I have running thru NTRIP for a local RTK over IP system here in Rural Central Texas. Another employee in my company is being setup with a pieced together system that includes the receiver that I have built into my DIY RTK over IP base.

I am wanting to know what is the cheapest receiver that will see L1,L2,L2c, etc, which I can connect the Zepher Geodetic that i have or another antenna that I will need to purchase. I have a 5800 and a R6-2 that I will be running as rovers off of this base.

I will be purchasing this on my own dime so I will be looking on the cheapest rig that will work.
Thanks,

Your best bet would be to find a good used R7 or 5700 II; it would connect right up to your existing Zephyr Geodetic and NTRIP connection. Try ebay and your local dealers; there are no dealer restrictions on used equipment so try dealers outside your area as well. Either way make sure your dealer checks for the latest firmware.

I'm would like to setup a DIY RTN. Can you send me any information. I'm looking at using a 5700 as the base station.

Thanks

Chris

I can direct you to a couple companies which will host your system for free. Also, if you're looking for CORS equipment I have a number of my professional RTN clients who have upgraded receivers to the latest GPS+GLO+GAL+BDS and have their older GPS+GLO only receivers for sale. Although costs on CORS is coming WAY down. A new receiver with all the unlocks AND a chokering antenna is now under $10K.
