Sloshed through three inches of snow on Wednesday morning.?ÿ Currently 71 and headed for 72.?ÿ Tuesday promises 24 with 20 mph winds and snow.

For those of you living north of the 41st parallel, it is indeed possible for all snow to melt off prior to April 15.?ÿ You may have never seen it happen in your lifetime, but, it does happen, just not where you live.

It's good and warm here today.?ÿ I think in a few days we'll be back down into the "more normal" February temps.

PS -My Naked Ladies breached the surface this afternoon.?ÿ That's about 2 0r 3 weeks early.

?ÿ pretty crazy- was a sunny day here today but not as warm as yesterday. Spent some of the afternoon spreading sand/salt on the driveway so the propane guy can get up the hill tomorrow or the next day. Took this screen shot yesterday at noon and sent it to my son in Pensacola for some perspective. Itƒ??s where the immediate kin are... took the second one today from the deck as I was grilling burgers- came inside for a few items and missed the alpenglow.

?ÿ

We could be set up for an early melt. That usually means big fires. Hopefully we get some cold soon...

@rankin_file

Put in Polson and my town.  Found they are about 1560 miles apart.  Found the midpoint of a trip would be very near Wall, South Dakota.

Dang!!!  We passed through Wall once on the way to see the three surveyors and some other guy.  That was on day three of our journey.

Was up to 65 on Friday, warm Saturday so I got rid of all the Ice dams and build up around the house, installed a roof heater to try and keep the gutters warm and the ice from building up. I will know in the next two weeks if it works, I have over a foot of fresh snow now, with more coming, highs in the low 20's for a while.?ÿ

But still not bad for early Feb.

Looking forward to spending the evening and morning shoveling. Not really!!
