From what I've seen of other states this is the best.

I'm in agreement with you on the setup of the Wyoming BLM record site. It is by far the best and easiest to navigate and find what you need. I've only used two others, Montana and Arizona to search for plats and field notes, Master Title Plats, etc. and the Wyoming site is the easier of any. They, the Wyoming Office, are entering data and in some areas there is not anything there yet, but they are gaining on it.

The only one that I would rate "better," would be the Nevada Site. But it's VERY similar, and [BONUS] has color scans of the plats (in the cases I've looked at).

Thanks Moe! I only wish Oregon and California had this. It would make life a lot easier!

I like that one also; of course the one I first looked at did not have the notes yet, but the next one had everything. Very nice!

For me it would be nice if all of Colorado was online also. The Wyoming site, I believe is still adding notes and plats but should be close to finishing up. Their next effort is to clean up some of the plats that are a little "fuzzy" to decipher. Our professional association gave an award to the big chief cadastral surveyor in Wyoming (John Lee) for getting the notes and plats available on the internet. I was asked to come in to their offices and beta test the accessibility and it was smooth from the getgo.

I would double that for Colorado. New Mexico is ok. I really do like the Wyoming format. Talk about easy!
