Anybody having issues with the Zoom80 / SurveCe combo?

I am using this combination and the Carlson surveyor Plus is freezing up causing the robot to do some very strange things.

Mine stops searching but displays LOCKED when it is not pointed at a prism

I have sought support and have been told that I am the only person to have these issues.

I am working construction in a refinery and the instrument / data-collector is Bluetooth
I am working in the vicinity of high voltage

I believe that the data collector lacks the memory to run the robot but I am told paths there are many using the same without issue

What ever is going on shuts down the data collector eventually

Any help would be appreciated

What is it locked on when you look through the scope?
I've seen them locked on the sunlight reflecting off a car, maybe that's it?

No you are not the only one. My buddy borrowed my Geomax and used his Surveyor+ instead of my Supervisor. He called me many times complaining about locking up. I had no ideas. He had to just hard reset and that would be a temp fix until next lockup. I have many issues using SurvPC and Carlson is no help for now. Just hope they get their act together soon.

IS - I'm controlling my Zoom 80 with an Allegro MX (radio connection) with
Carlson SurvCE v2.61. I haven't seen any of the issues that you mentioned.

This is not going to help your situation but our Surveyor Plus v2.61 locked up friday while taking an offset shot with our Topcon Robot QS. The data collector is locked to the point we could not do a hard reset, it would go the to blue welcome screen, then the green windows screen and that is where it stays. I boxed it up and sent by Fedex to Hayes on Friday so they can have it Monday and find out if they can get our data out and maybe fix it. Today I put SD Micro Cards in the other two Surveyor Plus units we have so at least if another one locks I can get the data out.
