Hey always got two. That way we both can find a place to make a pothole. Gotta love the reactions when you tell people you work for the county pothole department.

I was aiming to try out the "hounddog" by ChrisNik. But, it seems 'ole Javad (thats the guy with gps on steriods) has come out with one of his own.
I have 3 metal detectors now. Now granted, one is an airport security one, "garret", but it could find a rr spike in an open area.
My theory is "more is better" in metal detectors.
I fear getting to a job without one!
And, the javad one wont be available for a few months...

Ever take one apart? The slider piece has a ribbon like a printer, so it moves along nicely, lets it work open or closed too. I try to pinch pennies wherever I can, so I buy old , well crap, now I can't spell schondsedt, from Ebay and either repair if I can, or send to the shop for a rebuild. I like my 72 series. But it's kinda kept me from trying any other kind. If there is any better, I'm all for hearing about them.

If you wanna buy detectors for repairs I have about 8 just laying around. Some turn on some I dunno about.
