I am working on a RFQ for the Forest Service and one of the requirements is to submit a "Surveyor's Report" along with a Survey Plat. I have completed several boundary surveys for the USFS in years past but do not remember doing a Surveyor's Report. I am not SURE what they mean or are looking for. Can any of you provide me with an example of a Surveyor's Report that is used or required by the Forest Service in the Southeast?

I would suggest getting an example from the Forest Service. We are turning in one tomorrow for another governmental agency that is 45 pages. Basically, we recite our research, evidence found in the field, basis for bearings and coordinates, field closure reports, Plat closures, historic and current land usage, and parcel descriptions based on our survey. Of course, the reviewer is the best person to get their expectations.
I realise that you are asking here for an example but surely the best people to get the example from is your client?
