I have a FC-100 with TopSurv v6.11.01. Any recommendations on which version of TopSurv 7 I should upgrade to?

I am told I should also have a backup copy of the current version, which I don't. Does anyone know where to find the version 6.11.01?

Thanks,
Dylan

TopSurv 7.5.2 was the last 7.x release and is available at www.topconuniversity.com. Older versions are available at http://www.topconsupport.com but they do not go back to version 6.x only the various 7.x versions. For the older version, you might have to contact your dealer or look for the original disk.

Be careful when loading the software on the unit. You will be asked where you want to install it to on the device. The default value is Main Memory. Sounds logical but that loads it into the volatile RAM and on the first reboot, it will disappear.

Instead, you will want to load it to the System CF card or depending on what version you try to load, there may be insufficient memory to accept the program on the system CF.

In that case you may want to consider loading and running the program from the SD storage card slot.
