Which brand / color of flagging do you think will last the longest without fading to the point of being useless? This is for marking trees planted in a wetlands area.

I like hot pink Texas flagging. I have never tried any of the arctic flagging.

The arctic flagging is is a thicker more durable version of Texas flagging.

Most any type of flagging loses its color and strength by exposure to the sun, even PVC.

At some point flagging is bested by tree paint for lasting longer.

Blue flagging lasts best

Blue lasts the longest by far. No contest.

Thanks,

This is for marking saplings that will need to be mowed around for a few years until they get a head start on the briars and sweetgums.

Tie a plastic grocery bag to the tree, it will last 100 years.

The bag probably will last, but whaevert is used to tie it won't.
