...that reminds you of a mob movie?
It starts out like this is going be the job where you become a "made" man; then a third of the way through you figure they only way it ends up is with someone sticking a .38 behind your ear, rolling your body up in a carpet, and dumping it somewhere in Jersey.
Aren't all jobs like that? At least here in the Garden State they are....;-)
Sounds like a great movie, when does it come out? 😀
Hope today goes better!!!

Just got a request from my engineers for the survey portion of a proposal on a project where the client is proposing to tear down a building owned by an orphanage and build condos...I fear for my soul.

You are going from one movie theme to another. So close to Christmas, you could be getting a visit from three ghost. Pay close attention to the Ghost of Christmas Future. 😉
I worked with a person who found a sawed off 12 GA along the road - He kept it. I think the worst place I worked was the train station at Croton or Croton Falls, NY.
There were abandoned sheds/buildings in the brush and purses and needles and all kinds of nasty stuff. You had to keep looking over your shoulder.
Peekskill was also kinda bad. Had this 13 +/- year old kid who should have been in school come up to me and look at the instrument. He stared at it and said "what that is man?" He was cool.
I had to sweet talk a couple of hungry pit bulls about a year ago. Don't close/lock the gate behind you in new territory. One was kinda cool but the other was saying "MMMMMMMMMM lunch". If there had been 3 I would have been toast as you can keep them in front of you when there are 2. I'm sure we all have stories....
I faced down a pit bull but I'm 6-4 and 230.
"I'm sure we all have stories...."
I could tell you stories that would tear your heart out, Roxie.
You only worked there, I lived there. Sometimes I was even sober.
That's when it's difficult.
