I did an elevation certificate yesterday on a house with a basement and crawlspace.
Approx. half is the basement and the other half is a sub-grade crawlspace. No vents.
We don't have any basements in this area, so I don't have much experience with these.
I'm thinking Diagram 4 with the base as the first floor and the crawlspace as the next higher, then noting the first livable floor in the comments section.
Sound right?

Yes, and in the comments I note the areas of both.

Happens all the time....I hate those forms. Trying to conform to them is like trying to fit a square peg in a round hole.
I always end up relying heavily on the comments section.
