Youze guyz are killing me...

> So, what does "irregardless" mean???

I think its a blonde thing, so only they know. Just cut them some slack and enjoy the morning after. Dying their hair won't matter because it's a root issue, certainly not cosmetic. And you will never fix it.

Just put on some Lynard Skynard, juice up the coffee with some Jack, and enjoy the ride. 😉

> I've always hated the non-word 'irregardless" because i can't understand what it means. Is it the opposite of regardless? or a stronger more emphatic regardless?

The latter (emphatic double negative).

For real emphasis, though, nothing beats the triple negative

By innocence I swear, and by my youth
I have one heart, one bosom and one truth,
And that no woman has; nor never none
Shall mistress be of it, save I alone.

So, what does "irregardless" mean???

I looked it up in Webster's once and it is in there. They say it means regardless. I suppose it's slang. If regardless means "in spite of" then I suppose irregardless should mean "not in spite off". But that phrase hurts my head when I think about it.

> Disirregardless of the above, I still use the word.................;-)

Because offending schoolmarmish grammarians gives me unboundless joy; I've always advocated the unmerciless use of irregardless.

I like irregardless. What it means is regardless, over and over again. It's like irrigation, only spreading an attitude rather than liquid:)
