Trying to update DS World from the Tools/Update Program pull-down and it goes on its merry way contacting the server, downloading files and then I get a dialog box that says permission denied. Any thoughts out there? I'm running Windows 7-64 bit.

I had a similar experience with another NGS application (Translev). The problem was Win7 UAC, and the solution was to reinstall the software somewhere other than Program Files. Win7 aggressively restricts who can change stuff there.

Thanks Jim! Worked just fine when I reinstalled to a different location. I still got a message about the firewall blocking access but was able to abort the blocking.
