I've done that.

And, I've met surveyors who didn't know, and didn't care. 3 feet was good enough.

I sometimes wake up thinking about some tough boundary... I stay awake long enough to solve the puzzle but not long enough to write it down. I wake up to go to work and can't remember how I solved it. Kind of ruins the day....?ÿ

Me too, and think to myself, why the hell I held a calculated center of section instead of a monument 12' away from the "math solution". ?????ÿ
