Purchased a CST GPS Tripod recently on eBay. Thought it might be a good unit to have for campaign style GPS work. It is CST model number 69-WDF30GPS. I'm unfamiliar with the fitting on the head, and what sort of adapter would be used to mount a GPS receiver with female 5/8x11 threads on its underside. I called CST and they haven't been able to point me in the right direction. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Here are a couple of pictures. Thanks.

Al

I've never seen that adapter before, but you sure it's not made of a 2 meter pole to slide though, then the GPS goes on top of the 2 meter pole?

Looks like the pole below is "built-in" to the head, not meant to slide through.

Here you go -

Seco 2070-02

or, if you need a little taller version to make room for cable connections -

Seco 2072-001
