Can someone please convert a DWG file for me? It says it was created using a newer version of Autocad. I need it saved to version 2007. Thanks in advance.

Not to discourage someone from helping you (I don't have a recent version of AutoCAD), but have you tried "TrueView 2012"? It's free download/AutoCAD viewer that can save back to versions 2000, 2004, and 2007.

Stacy,

Send it to me and I'll see if I can convert it to the 2007 format.

Use the email in my profile.

also try accellicad. You can get it for $99.00. That's what i used when I needed to work with a newer version of acad. (www.autodsys.com)

I've used True View and it worked pretty well for me.

Before I posted this message, I tried to download TrueConvert but for some reason couldn't. I think it's a firewall issue, but needed a quick fix so I posted here.

I am on 2010 and I will also be glad to save it back to 2007 for you. If it is 2011 or 2012, then I am stuck too.

Dude,

You know any time you get in a bind like that I'll help you.

Would have posted last night but was in a Webinar until 8:30.

Have a great day.
