Have you drove through since you've been back? It looks a little bit different eh? I have lived here my whole life and there is not a time that I drive through here and am not totally amazed at what we have done. The flow is already relieved to some extent and it is only gonna get better. They report 2014, but I bet a dime to a dollar that we finish in the summer of 13. Im not able to discuss the next one but its really gonna throw a few locals for a loop around here.

That is one major intersection. Where is it?

NM, I read some following posts. I haven't been there in over 10 years. I knew it wasn't the "High Five" at 635 & 75.

I worked heavy construction as an instrumentman, party chief and "Field Engineer" for several years and we NEVER trusted a carpenter or concrete foreman to check elevations. About 9 out of ten were at the level you just described.

And a Large percentage of Land surveyors are just as unqualified to layout major edifices as that foreman was to check elevations.

Nope, but 3 of my guys were on it. None of them are licensed either 🙂

Clearcut,
Same thing happened to me a long time ago. Freeway job, tight curve with steep super elevation. Contractor came through and using our offsets graded the road. We came back through to set "top o rock" hubs. Started out fine but soon were leaving them up 10" or better. Contractor started screaming at us, "you guys are just out to scr*w me", my stake hop used your stuff! I called over the stake hop and asked to see his "p gun", held it up next to our level and sure enough it was way out of whack.:-P
