Well, I hope surveyors and engineers are not intentionally lying on LOMA applications. I have a hard time believing some of those houses shown in those photos would qualify for a LOMA. If surveyors are lying, it is a federal crime and they should lose their license.

Another possibility is that homeowners are Photoshopping their el. certs and applying themselves.

If there is a hurricane, and severe damage to a gulf front home that was rerated as an X by a LOMA, I hope FEMA will investigate before paying out.
