Hopefully someone can help me out here. I am working on a large scale topo and I noticed my Survey Figure lines were not there anymore. I have been working on this for about 3 days and the Figure lines are part of the topo as break lines. Somehow they disappeared on me and I have no idea where they went. If I go through the database where I processed the files and re-inset into DWG I see them pop up and then they go away within a matter of seconds. I have been using civil 3d for 2 years and have never had this happen. Any suggestions?
Thanks
What version of Civil3d?
We had a similar thing happen to a rather large topo drawing using Civil3d 2010. We have to revert to a backup file to get things back to normal. We opened a ticket with Autodesk and they basically said to upgrade (surprise surprise). We already had the upgraded version but hadn't yet implemented it. Since then, we have upgraded and haven't had a reoccurrence.
CK,
Post your drawing on the Civil 3D Forum. One thing to check is the Layers in the Figure Styles.
Dave
We are using 2011. I have been using 2011 for 2 years and have never had this happen. After doing some research others have had the same problem. Its like there in there just not showing up.
CK,
I haven't seen this problem. Are your breaklines still affecting the surface? Have you run an audit on the drawing?
You really should post this on the Civil 3D Forum.
Dave
Yes they are still acting as break lines you just cant see the line. I have ran an audit and that did not work. My auto save and Bak DWG saved after this took place so neither one of them shows the figure lines. I will post the DWG today on the forum to see if anyone can get them back.

I have very limited experience with C3d, and only a users experience with computers, but I'd be looking into a hardware problem with the video card or processor. Sounds like it is running out of memory. Have you tried opening the drawing on another computer?
Have you tried closing down C3D completely? Or maybe restarting your computer?
