Anyone on here work in Birmingham, Alabama? I'm working on a project over there and need to get some information on 2 City of Birmingham survey markers located within our project area. I've placed several calls to the city's engineering department only to be shuffled from person to person with the end result being that no one knows who has that information. The amount of suspicion they have as to why anyone would want this information is astounding as well. If there's anyone that can put me in touch with someone who might be in the know, it would be greatly appreciated.

These survey markers probably are benchmarks for elevations. The city has no formal horizontal control. Where are you working? Contact me at 205-956-7125 and I may be able to help.

Thanks Angel and Steve, I believe I have the information coming at some point today.

If this doesn't work out, I'll give you a call Steve. We're working around the intersection of Ensley and 20th.
