The tipoffs that this is a highly risky proposition are the seller's statements that he'd like to get $3k for it and his request that you email your shipping address to "check if I'm able to ship it free to your location," plus his complete lack of feedback as a seller. A reputable seller won't make requests like that, and will have an excellent feedback rating.
My guess is that you send your email address, he emails privately that he'll sell it for some attractive sum outside of PayPal (i.e. check), and when he's got your money he's gone.
Caveat emptor.
It's an obvious scam and reported as such.
