Hoping for some help from Leica Captivate users, I am using a TS16 , well quite a few different ones as I move around the site.
My initial query concerns the job carousel -
This is already full of dozens of jobs, to create a new one requires flicking all the way to the left, are there any shortcuts to do this?
Is it possible to store jobs in subfolders? I have been used to doing this on Trimble Access. One folder per project or project section with jobs then arranged by date within these.
How about only showing jobs stored on the USB stick? That could be very handy for me.
I will have a bit of an experiment but please let me know your tips. I will have a few more questions as i get into it I'm sure.
Hi! At the moment there are no options to group jobs in folders or search the necessary job by the first letter. Also there are no option to choose jobs from only one memory device, if you have jobs saved in internal memory and SD card, for example, then all these jobs will show in the job carousel.
But Leica is aware of these issues as they have been suggested by many, myself included. So at the moment we have to wait for the release of next Captivate version and hope that it won't ask for a fresh CCP (so far they haven't)!

Thanks Artur and I hope they listen to their users.
Sometimes they can forget the simple stuff because they are so excited about 3D graphics etc;
Yes, they do listen to their users. In the coming release (2.0), you will be able to type a number(s) or letter(s) and it will jump to that area of the carousel. You will also be able to jump right to the end, or back to the beginning. But you'll need to wait till summer release.
Same here. I am actually uncomfortable with that particular feature. I can't imagine of you're loaded with 50 or more jobs.
