Cape Cod Pin Cushion

Not really a pin cushion, but what we have here is a concrete bound set replacing a clay pipe, found, that was original set in a pile of rocks.

It was hard to see anything but the pipe at first glance, thanks to the protective moss!

Here we are uncovered

And the General Setting, of course that large boulder was not used as a corner 🙂

I did not set any of those points! It was a nice find deep in the woods. though, right where it was supposed to be.

How about this.

The bound with the cross was visible on site. Did not check very well (even pacing)

Further investigation found the original, correct bound along with what appears to be a re-bar witness stake set flush with one of your competitors caps on it.

If you're going to set an iron pin next to a bound to help find the bound (maybe no rebar in the bound?) DON'T PUT A CAP ON THE PIN! unless you want someone to think that's the corner...
