We finished traversing the easy 250 acres yesterday. We are hitting the 250 acre parcel on the other side of the road, which thicker, steeper, and way more rasberries & old barbed wire. Hope to make it back out to the road by the end of the day and have only the road stuff to do.

Sharpen the machetes. I used to carry a brush hook when in forest areas. The weight carries it through the brush, small trees and branches come down quicker.

Pretty much all the setup is done, so we will only need the machetes for stuff we missed during setup.
Sounds like fun.

The boss did 61 stations in 8.5 hours for a woods traverse of 11,500'. Hide a nice downhill ride back to the truck while he turned the closing angle.
