...you've touched a nerve in me that is getting keenly sensitive the older I get.
As my years pass I've seen a great change in our society and the rulz we are suppose to live by. It makes me sad to see things go the way they seem.
In a nut-shell: Use to be we had unlimited personal freedoms, unless there was a specific law against something...
Nowadays it seems the governing authorities considers everything illegal, unless you have a law that says you can do it.
I better shut up, or this post could go the wrong way in a heartbeat!;-)
Why No Markings
When you place your a company name on a vehicle it puts that vehicle in a business class that multiplies the cost of operating that vehicle by approximately 2 of what a personal vehicle expenses are.
That alone is probably why so many do not place a sign on the door.
😉

Paden - you are not alone by a long shot.
I think we could probably have a good discussion over a camp fire.

Dittoto above.
Also our Planning Laws prevent certain vehicles being parked on a street for more than xx hours and can also be a problem if more than 2 commercial vehicles are parked on premises at any one time - In residential areas that is.
I have never advertised my presence and when in out-of-way places let neighbours of land land I'm working on to pass the word that a certain coloured and type of vehicle will be in their area and for what purpose.

I must agree.
Some of that same controlling authority's ignorance finds a nerve with me.
It always arises that when somebody wants a public thing to end and be only their thing, they always start pulling rules out of their behinds and actually get support from those that are supposed to be our legal guides, who with extreme ignorance in mind, these guides without fail will choose to oneup the wrong with another wrong.
o.O
The "Indian Rock" is well known in our area, but you won't find much online for some reason. The bowl on top and the trough are man made. It sits not far from the shore of Lake Richard B. Russell on C.O.E. land.
The county attorney told the upset landowner that he needs to get everyone to sign an agreement concerning the access road. I don't know if the atty gave him the language to use, but his agreement says that he must be notified when using the road, must know who and how many people, for what purpose and how long they will be there. All that so they can visit their own property. I wonder why no one signed it.
