Azimuth determination in 1922

Here's a thesis for a Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan Agricultural College, now Michigan State University, in 1922.

Looking at Google Earth, the points used on the campus are probably long gone, along with the professor and dean's houses used for locations.

Hopefully, MSU has current points available for such student work, although their methods have undoubtedly changed.
