I am looking to mount a couple TSC2's on atvs. Any cheaper solutions than this? http://www.allenprecision.com/survey/data-collectors/accessories/data-collector-brackets/seco-ball-and-socket-atv-bracket-for-tds-ranger-data-collectors/?gclid=CNuMs6mD6L0CFWxp7AodX0kA_A

Go to Ram Mount. I have a mount on my ATV that I use, and I have about $60 or so in it.

Here is the data collector bracket:

Here is the connector between the mount and the bracket:

The main thing I remember is making sure that the components are compatible.

I have used mine a few times, and I really, really liked it. I was able to drive the atv with both hands while running continuous topo.

Thanks. Just ordered 3 of them from GPS city with overnight freight for cheaper than one of the SECO units.

I already have enough of that holding the ATV's together. I try not to use it on the surveying gear.

The only thing I will caution you is to be careful when putting the data collector in there. It is made to hold the data collector pretty tight. It works great, but I would caution the field guys to be careful and pay attention.

I have not had any trouble at all, but I am overly cautious with the equipment because I am the one writing the checks.

You will like them. They are much, much safer than riding one handed while holding the pole.
