
I am pretty sure that is not called a 'scallop'. I just cannot remember the name of trim that looks like that. I am not going to call it 'trim' so no sense suggesting that.

It sure does, but I believe a corbel is a single ornament and does not extend along the entire face of a building.
Cornice molding or brick molding (which I doubt in LA) or it could be a mantle if big enough. So sez my bro who is an architect.
