I'm building a proof-of-concept site that is geared toward land surveyors and am looking for some nice pictures of surveyors in the field. Preferably, they would be 800 pixels wide or larger and of good quality. I'm looking for shots that could be considered tasteful, suitable enough for printing in a magazine or on a professional website. Something that shows surveyors working with their equipment in the field -- broad, all-encompassing shots are preferred (e.g. an instrument person looking through a total station at the chainman holding a prism pole).
I can't really offer any compensation other than the fact that you could feel warm and fuzzy about helping me out.
🙂
Update: I will happily add credits to your photos. Just let me know who gets credit (website URL, company name, your name, etc.). Maybe even what state you are in.
Update: I need a total of 15-25 photos, so I'm still on the lookout. I've already used more than one from some folks, but if I get enough photos, I'll probably just choose one per person, up to 25 people.
See my profile pic.
That's tiny. But thanks for the thought. 🙂
Its your website! What's an email and I'll email it to you?
> Its your website!
If it was bigger when you uploaded it, the site reduces it to fit. The original is not retained.

Thank you! 🙂
Chek yer male bro!
Thank you. 🙂
I actually like the one with the blonde woman running the instrument on the projects page.

If any of these meet your criteria let me know I will send the originals.

Missed that one Matthew!!!:-)
If any of these intrigue you, let me know and I will send you the Full Monte;-)
The field guys at a company a friend of mine used to work at, would have been caught doing donuts in the open field next to the GPS unit in your first pic, Peter. He showed me a couple of the photos they got from the aerial company showing all the tire tracks and the company truck in the middle of a spin out in the field.
Wendell:
I have one in my profile on the other site that you can use if you want it. Let me know and I can send it to you. It's in black and white though.

That was one thing I should have mentioned: They need to be in landscape format. But thanks for trying! 🙂
Wow, thanks for all the great responses! I got a bunch of emails with pictures attached. I really appreciate it.
You can see some of them in action at http://harntech.com/surveyors 🙂
