We’re flying out of SeaTac and as we were rolling out the taxiway I noticed some individual concrete slabs had dates and arrows stamped on them. Years ago I worked on a crew staking asphalt rural airfields, but never big concrete work. Is this typical? Farther down the taxiway the concrete was older, but on some newer, slabs intermingled with the old I spied these date stamps.
