It's been a very long day with me up at 4 am. Downloading GPS files out of an R83 I got ahead of myself and deleted a days worth of base observations I was going to use to post process the days rover work. I can download some CORS and process the rover data against them and I have some good ties to earlier work, just wish there was some way I could salvage that file before it gets overwritten with next week's observations. Probably not, but I'm ever the optimist. The data is still there in the receiver's memory, for now. Just the path has been shot. Any ideas anyone, other than don't work when only half your brain is working?
Right... think my work here is done for the day. (groan).
Don't know about the R8, but back in the DOS days, you could use the "UNDELETE" command...
20) Q ÛÒ I accidently deleted a job ÛÒ how do I restore it?
A ÛÒ Fear not. Trimble access will not purge deleted data until you restore the unit or delete the file while it is connected to the computer. You can restore a job by selecting Review Job and selecting the desired job. There should be a pop up allowing you to restore the deleted job and all of its contents.
