These last couple days of threads addressing so much of the business end of things on contracts, licensing, both sides of the 1099 fence, etc - even professionalism, has been fascinating.
It really shows how much some of us think we know about business, what we all want to know about business, and more importantly what we need to know about business. Or at least demonstrates a different viewpoint we may not have experienced - yet.
Especially from the various state laws that many have to deal with, and how much they do differ. The federal laws are tough enough to keep track of, so toss them into a business decision and it gets even trickier. There is never one standard answer.
Another thing that stood out to me was how polite things remained. I suppose some of that humility stems from not exactly knowing the answers keeps it that way.
Cheers beerleggers...
I agree those things are interesting, and I would like to second your comment about the polientess recently. Most of us know that has not always been the case with this board (especially the old board).
I like polite people (& posters too)
